Hampton Village Background:

In 1999, the properties along Joor Road identified as Lots "W-#" and "X-#", located North and South of the neighborhood entrance were filed with the East Baton Rouge Clerk of Court's Office as the George B. Cooke Property Subdivision. The next year in 2000, Hampton Village Estates Subdivision was developed on approximately 50+ acres of pasture land that was also a part of the George B. Cooke property, which included Lots numbered 1 through 76. In 2005, Lots numbered 77 through 105 (approx. 16+ acres) were incorporated into the subdivision with the third filing. And in 2008, a fourth filing incorporated Lots numbered 106 through 171 (approx. 35+ acres).

Shortly after the subdivision was established, a team of homeowners joined together to form the Hampton Village Estates Subdivision Homeowners Association, Inc. (HVHA). Today, the HVHA is hard at work to protect the common interest of the property owners and residences.

We've developed this website to keep you informed of important news and provide HVHA services at your fingertips 24/7. We hope you find everything you need to know about your neighborhood and about the City of Central and the surrounding communities.

If you are new to the neighborhood and to Central, we are happy you have decided to make Hampton Village Estates Subdivision your home. We are very fortunate to live in a community that appeals to all types of families, cultures and backgrounds. The goal of the HVHA is to create an enjoyable, safe, and community oriented neighborhood.

We need volunteers! If you want to make a difference in your community, ask how you can get involved - whether it is working with the Board on a committee or project, helping with landscaping in the common areas, or doing neighborhood watch - we want you to ask how you can be a part of your neighborhood by volunteering.

Over the coming months we look forward to meeting you whether it be walking down the streets, at a community activity, or an HVHA meeting. We are more than certain you will love this neighborhood as much as we do.

Sincerely,

HVHA Board of Directors
